Director’s biography

Roz Mortimer is an artist and film maker who lives
and works in London. She initially trained as a visual artist and
exhibited internationally as a textile artist and sculptor before
starting to make films in 1995. She was a senior lecturer in film
and video at the University of the Arts, London before setting up
her own production company, Wonderdog Productions in 2001. She has
a particular interest in expanded and experimental forms of documentary,
and her award winning films have been screened widely around the
world in film festivals, galleries, cinema and television. They
include Passages (2007), Invisible (2006), Tales from the Arctic
Circle (2005), Safety Tips for Kids (2003), Gender Trouble (2002),
Dog of My Dreams (2001), Neverland (2000), Airshow (1999), Wormcharmer
(1998) and Bloodsports for Girls (1995).
Her work has been supported by Arts Council England, The British
Council, Rockefeller Foundation, The Wellcome Trust, Film London,
LFVDA, LAFVA, Eastern Arts and Channel 4 Television.

Jeremy Williams is a graphic designer, photographer and sound recordist.
After initially working as an illustrator, he then spent 3 years
designing record sleeves at A&M Records. Now freelance, he is
based in London and specialises in book and web design, as well
as recording sound for artist filmmakers. |
